It was produced by McCord Radiator & Manufacturing Co. of Detroit, Michigan and exhibits a lot number of "858G", approximately dating its production to early 1944. The helmet retains its original olive drab factory finish, cork texture, and OD#3 (khaki) chinstraps with steel hardware and a raised bar buckle. These really help with dry mouth and the flavors taste good. It doesn't come in a plastic container like the picture which was disappointing. And it is a little expensive but it is a good variety but I do think it would look better in the box shown here instead of in a box. I poured in in another bag.
