This is beautiful and feels amazing on the skin. The shimmer is the perfect amount. You do not need to be rich in melanin to use this product. I am very fair skin and this looks amazing on my skin color as well. It's very hydrating and absorbs pretty good. I do not like oily feeling, was scared this would feel oily and it was not. I loved it. The smell is great and not overpowering which was a huge plus for me. I love applying this on my legs when wearing shorts, dresses or skirts.

I started using this Vaseline Illuminate Me Shimmering Body Oil a few days ago and I immediately fell in love with it. After I do my daily shower routine, I top it off with this shimmering oil, and the last thing I do is put a little on my cheeks and forehead...instant glow! I finally finished the bottle I purchased and I think it's really quite good. Apply after the shower. Helps with winter dry skin and the sparkles are fun. The scent is pleasant but not excessively strong, which is a plus imo. It's a thin oil which is good - it doesn't feel too occlusive. Might repurchase after using up other products I have; I think this would be a better summer buy considering the sparkles aren't visible in the winter when I'm suited up in long sleeves and pants all day.
