The first step was to make a temporary mold of a music note, then to create the swirls of each color into a glass design. The glass is then fired to cast into the mold. After that firing, I ground smooth all the edges and then it was fire polished in the kiln. The music note is epoxied to a stand that was made by cutting three pieces for varying sizes and
