Die schtzende Linienabdeckung aus Polyethylen (PE) ist 15 cm breit, 8mm dick und wird im Set mit je 3 Rollen 50 m geliefert. Durch die isolierende Wirkung des Schaumstoffes wird das Hochfrieren der Linien weitgehend verhindert. Das Band sollte in Abstnden von ca. 30 cm mit Steinen beschwert werden.
